How Tori Started

Tori began piercing at 18 years old. She took a break from work when she had children. When her daughter was 4 and wanted her ears pierced, Tori wanted to do them even though she hadn’t pierced children before. She began having friends ask her to pierce their daughter’s ears. Word of mouth spread, and she began working with children more regularly.

Working with Children

She quickly realized she loved working with children. “The younger my clients are, the more I relate to them. They’re so much easier to talk to.”

She says she gets so much joy working with children and helping them accomplish something big such as overcoming their fear of getting their ears pierced.

Life Lessons from Tori

“It’s like climbing a mountain where you are terrified but then once you get to the top, you think ‘If I can do that, then I can do anything.’”

Tori went on to say, “So I like to think with my little clients that one day you’ll be in a situation where you think, “This is hard, and I don’t know if I can do this” And maybe you will think back to me, and it will remind you that you can.”

What We Learned

A new business will grow slowly and with time. This is good because we are learning with each other which allows us to do better each time.

We need to set small goals with realistic expectations. We need to focus on reaching our small goals which will help us reach bigger ones.

And lastly, when you do a really good job at something, people will want to share it with others.

We Appreciate You
