From Client to Coach

Q: How did you become a manager at Bay City Bootcamp?

A: I came to boot camp as a client looking to make a positive change in my life. I fell in love with the workouts and had great success with both physical and mental health improvements. So I decided to get certified in personal training and became a coach.

Clients Like Family

Q: What do you love most about your job?

A: The people! The clients are more like family and bring me so much joy each day. I love getting to know each person who comes in on a personal level.

I love being a part of the positive change in someone’s life. They come in defeated and unhealthy. After time and hard work, they leave boot camp feeling happier and healthier.

Challenges at Work

Q: What are some challenges you face with work?

A: The challenge is learning how to work with people with different personalities. But this is my favorite part. Learning what motivates each person and helping them push themselves so they can reach their goals. It’s so rewarding.

Building Community

Q: What is the goal at Bay City Bootcamp?

A: Our goal at Bay Cit Bootcamp is to not only help improve our client’s physical health but to also improve their mental health. We strive to build a community that feels more like friends coming together to exercise. We want each client to feel welcomed and know they will be pushed and get a good workout each time they come.

Advice for Young Ears

Q: What advice would you give young entrepreneurs?

A: Find something that you love and turn it into a career. When you create a job out of your passion, you look forward to working each day.
